Mine is an -04 model.

Some really strange noises are coming from the car now...
I would describe them like this;
Sound no.1:
Sounds almost like a little piece of the front window is not in 100% right position. Its lika a vibrating-window-out-of-place sound.
Wierd right? Any comments regarding that sound?


Sound no.2:
When I slowly drive the car out of the multi-car garage the plastic things in the car actually cracks a little bit.
This happens only when one of the four wheels is "lower" to the ground than the other three, meaning that it only happens when I am turning so only one wheel hits the start of the downhill, before the others. It´s exactly at this time the cracking sound appears.

Do I have to put up with this or is it just normal?

 

I'm not an expert but I think they are normal.

I have a brand new 06 that has worse noise than your 04. Yeah, fit and finish on our Z sucks! But the car is damn fun

 

Dash rattles are extremely common. Personally, I hate the tire feathering noises the most!
