Default I didn't realize how Impressive just a few Bolt on could be...

I had an 04 5AT ZR with a Typhoon intake and 3.5 FD and loved it several of my friends bought Coupes in 6MT. The 06 Base drives great stock and is about on par, speed wise, with my lightly modded 5AT ZR. Same with the stock 03 Performance Model my other friend has.

THEN I finally get to try my buddies 03 Track with a Pop-Charger, Crawford Plenum, Highflow Cats and TD Exhaust. Un Freeking Beleivable how fast this thing is! Dropping the clutch at 4K has the rear tires roasting, same in second and finally grabbing in 3rd gear. Running hard, each gear thows you back in the seat. I couldnt beleive it.

Had I known, I would have just bought a Coupe and modded it out instead of springing for the heavy ZR and appeasing the wife with the 5AT.

Hmm, interesting. Anyone have any guesses how much this Z would put down on the dyno?

You traded your car for a child? I didn't know you could do that.

Had to get rid of your Z!?!?!
I did that when I was married...I had a 1984 300ZX Turbo Anniversary Ed. LOVED IT!! Sold it to show her I was committed to the idea of having children...she wound up leaving me a year later (never had kids). Selling my Z made me sick...so last year I got my 350Z.

But I wish you all the best with your family SQ40!! Be blessed...and may you be able to get your Z later on down the road.

Mod bug can be bad , NA is good but then you run out of NA mods then you want Turbo but you look back and the $$ spent on NA mods....sux I wish I would have just saved up and went turbo to start.

That is true sisco534, but then again, no NA mods are going to run the risk of your engine blowing up. That cost a little more to fix.

Besides, I have never seen a single T, or TT Z that had ONLY the turbo. They all had exhausts, headers, blah blah blah.
