Don't feel so bad. I had an intestinal blockage this weekend from eating the wrong damn food. I was curled up in bed like a baby from 1AM Sat to Sun 11PM. Ran out of toilet paper but was too sick to go to the store so I had to use picnic napkins. Oooh and they don't feel like Charmin. Picnic napkins FTL!!!!

Followed the instructions very carefully, even putting the oven at a lower temp than recommended. My oven might have been too small (standard size) but there was heat concentration and ended up melting sections of the polycarbonate clear housing. Had to rush to Nissan before they closed to put another headlight assembly on order, $275! I bought the non-HID since I just need the clear cover. HID version was $700! After 12 hours yesterday working on it and $275 (which should have been a $15 DIY), I have to head to work tomorrow on one headlight and wait until Wed. to get my new one. I'm there with you bro.
If ur instructions didnt tell u , they should have, Soak down a piece of cardboard the size of ur rack to set the Lite on. SOPPIN WET.
I go 10 minutes at 200 preheated degrees til Golden Brown

I did that but did the edges/corners of your headlight come near the sides of the oven since the lights are so large? I believe the sides of the oven radiated too much heat to nearby areas and overheated it.

Well thats a shame ---Its hell when u put so much time in something and it goes poorly---The only prob Iv had is that the round opening that the cover goes on distorts slightly---But no big deal ---The second time in the oven softens it and putting the cap back on gets it back again. Good luck next time !!!!

Thanks for the support, I feel a little better . Although, I must say it looks badass now. I'll post pics when done.

To the OP, did you get the problem resolved?

This one didn't cost me much money but definitely cost me some man pride...

I was taking off my factory exhaust in order to install my Greddy EVO2. Well, right off the bat I was having no luck getting the bolts off behind the cats. I was using an impact gun and still not able to get it off. Well after a LOT of frustration they finally come off. Everything is started to go smooth now, until I get to the hangers. They are being a pain in the *** and since I didn't care about the stock exhaust I decided I was just gonna cut the hangers off the old exhaust so that I could just slide em out. While I was at my firehouse doing all this work and saw-zalled the first two off the right side but when I got to the left side the hanger was in a spot that I couldn't get to with the sawzall. So I go into our rescue truck and get one of the tools that go to the Jaws of Life set, a pedal cutter. Its just a small hydarulic-pump cutter. Well I was pissed that it was taking so long and getting tired and while I wasn't paying attention I cut off the actually hanger bracket instead of the hanger from the exhaust. Needless to say I was pissed, but had fun driving the car to the exhaust shop to get a new bracket without my exhaust on.
