I havea base as well, but the price is of the addition is the issue. Traction control should be standard,Cruise Control should be standard. It is rediculous that you have to pay for those two items on a sports car!

Only issues with 03-04 models was tire feathering which for the most part was fixed with new alignment spec's... and the 03'-04' models transmission syncro's would prematurely wear out if the car was driven hard a lot...
Other minor annoynaces were window streaking, gas door not opening when pushing the button inside the car and a few rattles here and there..

Wrx...
I had a 2002 WRX before my Z, I actually miss rocketing off the line from a stop w/ the awd+turbo combo wet or day
But stock Handling , ah the Z is nice! One thing autocrossing the cone dancing awd was nice, no fishtailing hardly at all, so was whole new experience racing the Z.
I am actually thinking of goint to an Sti soon, for room and I can drive it all year round, more practical for me.
Good luck!

Thanks, I have a Waon and its nice and yeah a Subaru is nice with the AWD and stuff however I'm the only one in it always, or my wife. We have a baby but we always go out in our Mazda 6 wagon cause its bigger than the WRX so I have 2 wagons for nothing. Thats why I was considering the Z so I'm def excited about getting one.
I'm in no big hurry just shopping right now to wait until I get a real good deal, And do more research to make sure I know what I'm getting into.
