I was just there just a few minutes ago and I took a few pictures of my own:

This is the first time I've seen the Z in person. I used to think that there was a particularly unflattering angle to view the car, the 3/4 front view. Now that I've seen it I can tell you I was wrong. The car is beautiful. Pictures don't do it justice.

I live about 2 minutes away from the Herndon office so if anybody wants a specific picture let me know.

I agree with the guy's post about the brake dust. Looks like a bimmer.

Or maybe that's just the requirement to post pictures on that site...

Either way, sure looks like the front brakes take a beating compared to the rear ones.

Thanks for taking those pictures, the Blue Z looks so sexy, makes me feel bad that I got chrome silver....looks like you can get pretty close to the car, if you can take any pictures of the inside that would be great!

I'd like that too but unfortunately there was no one around offering to let me into the car. I was surprised that it was parked where it was, in the most conspicuous spot in the lot. You could easily see it from the intersection.

When I went last Friday, they said they were strategically placing it out there... and indeed it drew a crowd...

yeah man. Nissan is totally playing us, and it works like a charm. Not only is the car brilliant, but this little "ad" campaign is great too.

ps my g-friend says that the video by BrianZ was totally funded or facilitated by Nissan and made to look "underground." That would be a great trick.

hey BrianZ, how DO you have a video camera capable of storing 1.3 gigs of media, hmm?

I'm flying up to DC this weekend. Where is the Nissan building once I drive into Herndon and is it a far drive?

If your flying into Dulles, its less than 5 miles to Herndon, its about 25 miles from Reagon, and about 50 miles from BWI. But I don't think it will be outside on the weekend and someone said that after the Tom Petty concert they are taking the Z else where (Florida maybe?). I would check here on Friday to see if the Z is still there. It IS absolutely fricken beutiful though. Hope you get to see it. As far as how to get there, its just off the Dulles Parkway, but its a little tricky to get there because there is no exit right there. I would get the address from the Nissan web site and then get a yahoo map (which is exactly what I did BTW).

When is the Petty concert?

I will be flying into Andrews with the mean little monster in my avatar. Will only be there until Sunday morning. Thanks for the info. It will still be worth a try.

Sorry. Petty concert is tomorrow. If your getting here Friday, you might have a shot, but probably not if Saturday. BTW, that plane is cool, what is it?

I'll be there Friday night, more wanting to see the Z than anything.

The aircraft is a T-34, Navy primary trainer. It has 425 shp and 1015 ftlbs of torque so at least I can get my fix of power but the aircraft does weigh around 4400lbs full.
