What happens when car flips over?
What happens when car flips over from an accident when driving a convertible? Where does your head go? In any case will it smash your head onto the concrete? I know my question is very vague and vulgar but i have no other way of asking this question and sometimes im scared to drive my roadster...

Game over. Seriously, the car is designed to protect you, but if you were to roll down a ditch or onto uneven ground then you better hope luck is on your side.

Just a question... whose job would it be to clean up the splattered remnants of a flipped convertible driver? Would they leave the brain matter for the raccons to eat up, or would a Mexican get paid to properly dispose of the human road meat?
Btw... be afraid of driving your vert... be very afraid. Convertibles are known for just flipping upside down sometimes. I think it has to do with the weird aerodynamic effects. I saw a government study that reported that 100 percent of convertible owners have known of someone who has died. Scary stuff.

The bad things that can happen to you amplify in a convertable. But, the Z is a fairly safe one, you sit low in the car and there is quite a bit of upgraded material to protect you.
When you roll, more often than not the energy is not slamming the car straigt down on its top, but to "Spin" it. This takes some energy off the occupant area in many cases, which is a good thing.
Worst case is if you land hard on the top of the occupant area (Upside down) in to soft material like mud. The bars and windshield would "Cut" in to the soil, but your head would not.

We have had more than a few members roll their ZRs and live to tell about it. One guy wasn't wearing his seatbelt (which is usually a bad idea) and was thrown to "Safety". He was hurt fairly bad, but not killed.

I used to be a cop, and just about every convertible rollover I ever saw resulted in death. However, it usually isnt because of a head smash. See, people that drive convertibles are too cool to wear seatbelts. So what usually happens is they are thrown from the vehicle and then the vehicle rolls over on top of them. 9 times out of 10 its severed legs or decapitation from the windshield edge, not to mention the crushing of the torso from the weight of the car.

Seatbelts cramp my gangsta lean and dont allow me to hang out of the window and point at my wheels.
