Good one, we have seen the black plate with silver "Z" but who knows if this is the stock or upgraded piece.

can't be, the standard non aluminum kick plates are black plastic with a chrome Z. I saw it with my own eyes. It looks quite good and almost makes me feel sorry I ordered the optional ones. I had no idea there was going to be the silver Z there. To tell the truth a friend of mine has a 2000 911 turbo and he got optional kickplates, and I wanted to show him my Z and say look I got them too.

I don't believe this for a second. If it were true, then someone owes me a f'ing refund for the $79 I'll be paying for that upgrade. The black plastic looks like *** and no better than what comes on a Ford Explorer. I DID NOT sign up for that.

Please provide the source of that information. Thanks. If it is mostly plastic then at least it will be less likely to bend when stepped on.

Those have to be Photoshopped. There is no line where the splash gaurd meets the car? No way it can be that smooth?
It looks like one molded piece and way too good. If the look
that good, I'm getting them put on before I leave the dealer.
Well worth the hundred bones if they look that good and are
functional.........

Yes, I agree. The little chrome Z in the middle is not worth $79. Maybe not even half that. Nissan needs to adjust the price. The picture that has been on the web since day one is representative of the part we are expecting, nothing less.

Why is everyone automatically believing a guy on his 3d post who says something no one else has heard anything about?
