I went to the dealership this morn to get the oil changed in my Frontier. I pulled into the bay and saw a nice black Track on the racks. I wondered if the owner was around anywhere so we could talk. Well, I didnt really find the owner until the car was down and he backed it up into a parking space in front of the dealership. As people walked up to him and drooled all over his nice car (Michigan plates: TRACK Z), my dealer told me his story. Apparently he was driving to Cincinnati last night when his car broke down. The dealer had the car towed on a flatbed where they discovered oil was strewn everywhere under the hood. The guy had an oilchange in MI before he started on his journey to Cincy. Well, they didnt secure the dipstick, so oil ran everywhere. There was no oil left in his engine. The good guys @ the dealership did a good deed last night and lent him a demo car because he was late for a very important engagement. He had made dinner reservations at a nice restaurant downtown and had planned to surprise his girlfriend (who didnt know he was coming to town) and propose to her. Poor guy...everything just got all botched. The service guys @ the dealership cleaned under the hood very well, though and he was on his way this morning.
