someone keyed my rear bumper last nite i think. i noticed it this morning when i was washing my car. is about a 6 inch key scratch. took the paint right off. you can hella tell its a key because of the marks. im surprised thats all they did. i think its some bastard at work that hatin. im going to look at the security tapes on monday to see if anyone was spotted.

What sort of company do you work for? If you it was at your job, I hope you caught the bastards on camera.

 

Z gets so much hate. Everyone thinks that they are expensive sports cars (well the higher models are, but you can walk away with a brand new Z for 26000). I get more negative attention from my car than positive. Oh well, ***** weak, thats not why I drive it

 

when i go to work. i dont show the z. i dont park in front of the building because theres a lot of people outside before my shift starts. i park right next to my friend like 2 rows back from the front. i go into work trying not to attract a lot of attention. just for the nite i think it got keyed i was late for work and i had no choice but to park in the front. i think thats when i happened.

 

Sucks i just got keyed also, i got like 10 marks at least 2 feet each one on my hood... oh well hopefully it comes off with polish

 

Sorry to hear about this...sounds like you will need a repaint of the bumper hope you catch the a**hole who did it.

 

The passenger side of my Z is abused like no other. I saw a kid open the door and hit my car yesterday while talking to this one gurl that works at a bubble tea place. I was in shock, but had to let it go since it was a little girl that opened the door. The gurl I was talking to told me to just go say something... eheh but I didn't wanna make a scene.

 

the Z got hated on cuz the Z performs like something that costs twice as much and looks 10X better, a lot of people could not deal with that.

 

Not wanting to get offtopic or have another debate war, but it performs like it's price. A s2000, evo, sti performs just as well if not better in many areas. Plus it does not perform better than a m3 or z4 or some porches(cars that cost 2x as much).

As far as looks, that's subjective.

My 2 cents. Don't get me wrong I think the z is very good car overall, and would not hate on it.

 

Funny thats why Z's have been tested faster around road courses than E46 M3's....

 

its just a Z, its not a Ferrari. Get some sleep man and enjoy your car. If someone keys it or damages it, just fix it. Dam, u dudes are too ****!

Also, I believe that most of this hating is being done by kids. Under the age of 20. Kids just have no respect these days for personal property because there are no consequences. If I ever caught someone, there would be consequences.

 

Gotta be careful. Sometimes, it's the driver, not the car.

That is awesome. If I didn't have a garage at home, I would definitely do something similar with an network attached camera. Great idea.

 

no not that i know of. i mean theres some folks in there i just walk by and dont pay attention too. i know this one guy i used to be friends with there. but i know his little short *** wont do anything cuz his brothers gotta z and hes gotta new car himself. unless hes that stupid to do something like that.

i just spoke with a co-worker there thats been working at my job for 4 years. he says theres camera all over the parking lot. he said the whoever did it is surely caught. il find out tomorrow.

 

So the world prefers you to drive a Camry or Accord.

I feel you're pain man. One time I went to leave in the morning and noticed the same thing. Someone keyed my car from front to back on both sides of the Z the night before.

Then about one week later I went out and these stupid kids that were skate boarding at this park asked me if I had any weed and I said, no. Came back and noticed a rock the size of a CD sitting next to my Z. Yup the stupid fuking kids that asked me for weed had thrown a rock at my car, and put a huge @ss dent in my door.

I didn't yell or anything because I felt they were probably watching me an would have gotten off watching me yell. So I kept my cool then went searching for them. After it all it cost $2,900 to have the key marks/dent fixed, and for what price? Because some Jealous @ss holes wanted to have acouple minutes of fun.

 

I don't think it's **** when you get pissed because someone just damaged you're car that you have to spend YOUR own money because of it.

Maybe you've just never had you car damaged before and don't know how it feels to know someone was standing by you're Z at one point hurting it?
