Drawbacks are well-known, including cramped interior, subpar audio system, no low-end torque, engine noise, etc., but even though I love my Z, I can't help but pause and look whenever an S2K comes rolling around.
So, what would you all ride in if the Z never existed?

I was honestly looking at a Honda Accord Coupe or the Altima 3.5SE until the silver Z was unveiled. A Supra was in consideration, but they were hard to find. Then a prev. generation GS400 was considered as well. Lastly, a 240SX with an SR20DET and vLSD swap in mind.

Myself... if I woulda got to the used car lot a week sooner, I would be driving a black, MKIV, TT, targa top, 6-speed Supra. And I would still have it. Other than that, if the Z wasn't there, I would be driving an Apex Silver '03 Evo 8, which was number 2 on the list of cars to look at that day.

The only way the s2000's stereo could be worse than the 350z's is if it gave you herpes every time you ejected the CD.

I got passed by one of those Crossfires on the freeway, it was black.
The style isn't really my taste, however the black one at night, looked nice. Looked like some exotic Eurpean car.
