Honda S2000. Unlike what many members here believe, the S2K is a nifty little car, it handles like it's on rails and I love that high revving, motorcycle-esque engine not to mention the improved styling from 2006 on. Drawbacks are well-known, including cramped interior, subpar audio system, no low-end torque, engine noise, etc., but even though I love my Z, I can't help but pause and look whenever an S2K comes rolling around.

So, what would you all ride in if the Z never existed?

M3 4 life
Actually, I tried to search, but it returned a bunch of threads re: reckless driving.

While an M3 would be nice, around where I live (Northern VA), BMWs are like four-wheeled cliches, I can spot twenty of them in a given day. Surprisingly, many of them are M3s because there are a lot of rich, bored yuppies around here.

S2000. That's actually what I had before the Z. I still miss it sometimes.

crossfire - i *almost got one instead of the z...i kinda wish i did, TOO MANY Zs on the road - rarely ever see crossfires...(i know, it's either a watered-down MB or an over-rated dodge, but with all the problems i used to have with the z & dealership when i first got it i would have been better off at the time with the crossfire - i was very pissed off with the z at first...now i love it).
or i would have shot for a z4...

Supra MKIV. I was searching for months in '04 for the right one, but ended up deciding that I'd rather pay the same price for a new Z versus an 8 year old car with someone else's problems.
