Default Wheels on muh Z go round n round...

Okay - now as I understand it the touring will have 8" wheels on the front and the back. Coolio... I'm planning on getting a set of Volk TE37's anyway so no big deal... I'mma have to get some new tires for these TE37's and I'm looking at Potenza 03's (if you gonna spend money might as well go with the best!).

So here's my question - can I just stagger my rims with 8's up front and 8.5 or 9's on the rear? I'm confused with this offset **** and how it works... fyi for all those who don't already have it...

boltpatter is 5x114
offsets:

225/50/17 (with offset 30 wheel)
235/50/17 (with offset 33 wheel)
225/45/18 (with offset 30 wheel)
245/45/18 (with offset 30 wheel)
225/45/18 (with offset 30 wheel)
245/45/18 (with offset 33 wheel)

We need to find out what will fit once the cars start getting into people's hands. Then we can decide. It would be nice to squeeze a 9" front and 10" rear to get some 275's in back and 245's in front, but we'll see.

I believe the Volk TE37's may be a cousin, however, I'm not 100% sure if they are exactly the same. The TE37's aren't the most gorgeous rims but they definitely will give the Z a disinctive look. They are very expensive as well - I'd be interested to see how they weigh out against the Rays. They are both made by the same company. I like the Volks because I can get them color modified and I can also get them in 9" versus the typical 8.5" which is on the track. Should be pretty awesome looking!
