Yes, but the Z was supposed to have a 5 sec 0-60 time spec right? If not, then a couple points of a second more is not bad at all and even so nothing a few mods can't take care of! Lets put it this way, if you can do 0-60 in 5 seconds or less, you have a FAST car! Well fast enough for a street drivable vehicle anyways!

I heard somewhere from a guy who saw the car at an autoshow that the rear strut bar got moved back. Supposedly there is bluetooth in the touring and up models. Active head restraints. That's all that come to mind at this point, I might have missed a few.

 

yep, but only in the coupe models. i don't think the roadster gets it.

If G35 went from 14.5 to 13.9 and thats a 0.6 sec difference, so on average Z's should be at leaset 13.5 or faster. Pretty soon we will see.

 

+1 This is actually starting to annoy the **** outta me. I thought for sure we'd hear something from Nissan by now. I saw a commercial for Nissan's year end sales event yesterday... hopefully when that advertising campaign ends, the 07 Z's campaign will begin.

Yeah, I did on Nov 9th. But the dealer I was working with quit Nissan and now I'm stuck with some TOOL that has lied to me at least 3 times so far. I'm not real happy about it either. My patience is wearing thin waiting on this car. If anybody is gonna hit that SF autoshow tomorrow could you please take a picture of the exhaust from as far underneath as possible? I need more pictures to tide me over... the 5 or 6 I have so far just aren't enough anymore.

 

There was a post a week or so back covering this... the color code for San Marino Blue is the same as the color code Infiniti had for Twilight Blue. So it'll most likely look a lil somethin like thiiiiiiiiiis....

 

Wish I had a picture where the San Marino was shown better, the picture above has too many shadows to really get a feel for the color. If its really that dark, I might consider a San Marino.

 

San Marino blue is light blue. My salesperson allowed me to view the new colors on the portion of the Nissan web site reserved for dealers. Do a Google search for the the flag of San Marino in Italy, and you will see this color. It was not to my liking, and I ordered the carbon silver. The first few 2007s will arrive sometime in January. My recent order missed the cutoff, and the next shipments from this order cycle are due in early March.

 

San Marino Blue is a 'Dark Blue'. If the paint-codes are indeed the same as the infinity 'twilight blue' then it will be as dark as shown above. Do a google search on San Marino Blue and you'll see for yourself that it is dark. Here is the first thing that popped up for me.

So no word on the intelligent key? (I still cant figure out why the manual G35c doesn't havbe it, and the automatic does....).

 

Maybe it has something to do with having a clutch, and not having the intellikey is a safety precaution on the manual?

 

I just got a mailer from Nissan advertising the '07 lineup. They have a shot of the Z in there, but I think it is a pic of an '06. As soon as I get access to a scanner, I'll post it.
