Who has already put in an order for an 07 and how long is it taking before arrival?

Today. What I wanted was already built and ships from Japan soon. Dealer says 2-3 weeks, I believe it will be 3-4 weeks.

Can someone clarify:
1. Did the final drive gear ratio get lowered or not?

I must agree. I think it looks slick and doesn't hurt the appearence in the slightest.

I had one spec'd out the way I wanted back in Nov when ordering became available. Mine is in the states all ready, but on rail to here.

Earlier in this thread, bluZee posted the following from a Nissan training manual regarding the 07 FD ratios. The 07 brochure says nothing about final drive, so the training manual is the only thing we have to go on. ..until someone takes delivery of their z...

Probably not since it says the same thing on the '06 specs.

LOL. Now the Z site (http://www.nissanusa.com/z/) is back to the 2006 info. The title of the page is 2006, and it talks about the 300hp engine. What the heck? Haha.

The whole Z portion of the site is back to 2006 model.

At least it is no longer confusing

Not true. The spec page has '07 data (VQ35HR), the interior page talks about BlueTooth, and the exterior page mentions the redesigned hood, the driving dynamics page talks about the HR... I could go on.

The site is one thing taht can be understood, test and re test before they post it up and make fools of them selves when something does not work.

What bothers me more is the people who keep seeing these cars (at the dealer or on the road) and don't track them down.

A white 07 was spoted in TN, Hawaii has shipment in and no one else has seen them

Yeah, some of the exterior pictures still show the '03-'06 hood on it and they even have one of the IF paint.

We'll see in about a week or so though, as it looks.
I'm not sure that exhaust was ever promised for the Z by Nissan, was it? It was on that vq35hr website, but all of that info came from the G35 sedan.

The cool thing is that the 2007 Z didn't gain any weight and in the overview section it says, "more than 90% of torque available between 2,000 and 7,000 RPM."
