I hate to say this, but i am starting to cosider another car
I am loseing any and all faith i had in Nissan and am starting to doubt there commentment to the Z that saved the company from total melt down. I still love the car and want one real bad, but i can't seem to feel the way i did about the z, not sure if it's just the several month delay or the lack of dealer knowledge or the fact the we care more about there product then they do. I guess i just need a test drive to chear me up O well sorry for the long post. The wait continues

To be honest with you guys... once I get mine you probably wont see a post from me in a week or so. I'll be too damned excited and probably wont even come near the computer. That, and I got this new girl now that I'll be putting a lot of *ahem* work into. So peace out for now, lol.
Pics of both later though, lol.

Nissan messed around for too long. Not even giving any reasons. I test drove two 2007 corvettes and let me tell you, the power and torque is fantastic. All this increased torgue/hp or no increased torque/hp in the '06 or '07 z is not really an issue anymore. Either auto6 or manual in the C6 will put a smile on your face. Yes, it's alittle more money, but you don't have to do anything to it. And if you do, well . . . Just a few more months even and the 08's will be out with more proposed hp (around 425 +).
Don't get me wrong. I was waiting for a long time for the '07, even turned down an ordered '06 GT for it. If I change, I'll still miss the z (looks and feel) but I think the power will more than compensate. Still will drive one when they finally hit the dealerships and still waiting on a big difference, like I initially felt with mine, four years ago. Still, the hood? Pictures or in person, not a good look!

What's the fun in having a car if you're not gonna do anything to it? The only way I'd own a 'Vette would be if it's a C6 Z06... that's it. To me, the 350Z is more appealing. I'd rather have a Z then 90% of cars out there.
Anyways... I feel bad for some of you mainlanders. We have close to 10 out here for sale now. I'm still waiting on the dealership down the road to call me for a test drive.
And if you don't believe me, go to http://www.kingwindwardnissan.com/en...mePage_1.chtml
The dealership I went to doesn't have them listed online yet.

The Z is very appealing and a good price point. The Z06 is a "true supercar" and I really like the extra cosmetics. But for the money, the C6 is more practical and with a few changes, can look like the Z06. Power? You don't really need anymore. But, if you mod it out like some of those guys do, it'll beat the Z06, for less money.
Both cars, in their class, are great values. Nissan just screwed up with their release and info of the car. Made some of us go and get a taste of something else. Even now, with everyone wondering how close the G and Z are in performance, where's the distinction. Two seats or four? Of course I love the Z.
By the way, bboypuertoroc, I lived on the rock in the early seventy's. North shore still breakin? Beautiful. All I did was surf and ...
