Out of a z
Its been a few months without my z and its starting to really get to me. Im thinking about going out and getting a new one. I havent been seeing them around as much as I used too. I cant still remember all the compliments and the females going crazy over it. The handleing was a blast and taking off in it and letting the back kick out was the best. I dont know to flip a coin on getting the same car or just looking into an 04 m3. The stories that I read really make me want the z again.
I recently bought a Volvo S40 T5 to help me keep the Z miles down and not be forced to drive it under crappy conditions. My wife has kind of been wanting me to sell the Z since I'm not using it as my daily driver anymore. I do really like my S40, it's peppy and nicely equipped, but it's not my Z. I would definitely miss it if I got rid of it. I have done some mods, although nothing major, and I'm personally attached to it.
dude i know what you mean. I love my Z. Even though in a few years little punks will be driving them because they will be cheaper...I stil lthink i might keep it. My plan is to pay it off, then turbo the hell out of it.

Yea im sad in a few years that the "punk" kids will have them...and thats all i got to say bout that
The z was a weekend driver so I always had a second car. Right now I have a yukon denali. Its nice and I love it also. The z always made people take another look and it started a convo everywhere.

are you on http://www.tsz33.com?
check it out, its the tri-state Z33 club.
We can help you out on this one
i started to advertise my Z, was all set on buying a new M3 convertible until i went and drove a new 335i coupe
now that's a hot car. Power delivery is sooo smooth, and the torque (400nm at 1300rpm to 5500rpm) really pushes you back in your seat. It handled really well, i thought it might be a bit dull but was actually quite a lively car. It also had a bit of rawness and gruff in the stock exhaust note
drove it back to back against an M3 and was really over it. The engine is too peaky, and just didnt pull as hard as the 335i. Coming off a round about in 4th the SMG box was blipping the revs to prevent it from stalling. Even the Z pulls better at low rpm, and is way more tractable as a daily driver
so my deposit is down on a new 335i convertible.......deliveries for Aus start around March/April
all it needs is an aftermarket LSD. Right now, companies like vishnu are getting 330hp from a simple ecu tune http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=167540 Tuning possibilities are far greater than on an M3
