So I've been considering a 350Z and looking them over for a few months now. I currently have a vette and a Miata. I enjoy both but am looking for something newer and fun to drive. Any other converts here from the vette or miata worlds? What have been your driving impressions? The good? The bad?

I still haven't driven one yet and am holding off till I get closer to the decision time. Still also considering an RX-8.

 

My previous toy was a '95 Miata M-Edition. Replaced it with my Z this past December and I could not be happier.

 

Used to have a 98C5, it was a nice car but i like the Z much better. The fit and finish of american cars suck. Not saying that the Z is Benz quality but its a definite improvment over american interiors that I have experienced (mainly mustangs, camaros, and vettes). Get the Z you will not be dissapointed!

 

ZMoney - I currently have a fairly modded 2000 C5. How do you rate the peformance and driveability of the Z against the C5? I am really thinking about getting the Z this summer/fall.

 

Retrodog,I traded my 2001 Miata BRG for the Z.I had a hardtop,dual exhausts and roll bar but got tired of getting beat by minivans and didn't want the complications of turbo or superchargers so I got the Z.Totally different driving experience,not as nimble as the Miata but the extra 145 HP makes me happy.Now,ricers look at me with respect instead of disdain plus I was getting tired of the "girlie car" comments.

 

I rate the Z as being very adequate. I had my c5 lowered with Corsa Indy pace car exhaust. The C5 is fast as hell, no doubt about that, but as an all around car I love the Z. Not to mention the looks you get w/ the Z. Since its so new some people dont even know what it is. I am in heaven with this car, I dont want to get out of it. It sucks when I get to my destination since I dont want to stop driving it.

I went to the liquor store a few min ago to get some beer. I drove by this telemarketing place, there was a girl outside. When I left the store driving back in the same direction, there were 10 people outside waiting for me to drive back by.

Even when I test drove the car I had no idea what it truley ment to drive it until I bought it.
