I know david, especially that I read somewhere on this board that they don't drop in price that much. There is no way that the dealer would want to get rid of the car THAT BAD that they would drop 7 grand down. Something was wrong and yes, I was shocked for the rest of the night. I just got done paying the cavalier off, stupid as gmac ripped me another as s when they charged me with 18.9%. Got in 2003, had to buy it, here's why:
bought a car back in 2000 that I simply couldn't afford, to add onto it I easily racked up over 80 thousand miles in 3 years, I owed 16, it was worth 6, I was upside down 10 grand and had to come up with it somehow as I knew this car was dying.
So I ended up getting a cavalier 'cause it was the only car that I could get a 4 grand rebate on, then they negotiated the loan with gmac down to 13, I put down 2 and they rolled over 1 grand.

Winter's coming, I'm like majority of you guys, I'm too paranoid to drive it in snow, on top of that I'm even more paranoid driving it to work and leaving it in a parking lot unattanded, my plan was to get it next year but they won't have them, I can't get a used one 'cause it's a sports car and I'm bound to get into something that has been banged up on.
