Default Nice Deal

I go to a dealer last night to see if anyone's got any new pics of 07 'cause I wanted to see the back besides just the hood. Anyway, I tell the guy that I'm looking for 06 Z, hardtop, black, stick and if he can give me a quote off the 28K sticker price.
I'm waiting for like 10 minutes and wanting to go catch the movie with my girl I just left 'cause I got impatient. He calls me 3 minutes later telling me that he'll sell me the car for 21K

I flipped, just paid off the cavalier and was gonna dump 5 grand on dj equipment and my studio and now I gotta deal with this. I'm obsessed with the Z but I just got done paying one car off. Anyway, my question is do you guys think this is a good deal?

Is it a NEW not used Z? If new... sounds good!

Its a horrible deal... 7k off of the sticker price is not good enough... tell him you want it for 15k or an even swap for the cavalier.......

Funny
And yes it's a new Z.

I'm basically stuck choosing between my music or the Z.

So here's my next question, should I wait till the end of this year to see if they're gonna go even lower?
Also, should I create a little war between the dealers trying beat each other over giving me the lowest quote?

I'm not on crack, I'm in Illinois, you guys are telling me it's crazy? I almost had a freakin' heart attack when I heard him say that last night.
There's a part of me that's saying that music is more important and that I want to stay payment free for a while and give myself a break and then there's that second part saying " I've worked hard, I live once and I deserve to reward myself"

I won't even answer to that, I think you guys know why I want a Z, it's the major reason why we all go after them, they're sexy, full of style, class, got power, handling, the list just goes on. They're our toys, many Z owners are basically married to their cars, so that pretty much answers your question.

sounds like an amazing deal just be careful with the finance guys ...... they will def. try to make up for it in the interest rate. try to get your own financing, like eloan.com or lendingtree.com , and yeah if you dont buy it i will.

if music is really more important to you, buy it and turn around and sell it. you'll could make $4-5k easily.

Good to see that you have a sense of humor.

The MSRP is $28,000 and you got a telephone quote of $21,000. Something does not fit. The quote is too low to be a low ball price: one where the dealer tacks on extras like lifetime luster shine for $699.
