Damn i just spent about 3 lame hours of doing nothing checking out nothing but 350Z videos (lazy *** i know, but it's addicting lol) and almost allll replys were negative with a few indifferant posts and a few more who were giving the Z it's props.

Another thing i noticed is the bad performances the Z's have F/I or not. They seemed to always get their asses kicked in these biast or not videos.Even when the Z had more power sometimes they would lose?!. Even when the Z would win or tie there was always some excuse people were pulling on why the Z would win. 2nd there are a lot of morons who load Z videos and make fools of themselves getting smoked or talking **** to modded cars when their Z's are stock (not helping the situation)...i see those videos and i just shake my head with my hands over my head wondering why they had to purchase a Z


Not that i care too much i mean i love this car to death even after 3 1/2 years of owning this girl, but just the extreme hate towards our car is amazing...i had no idea they (streetfire community) hated on the Z so much. Really surprising considering i still to this day get nothing but compliments from strangers and thumbs up every now and then. Even at the track i go to people give me props on the car. I guess the internet is just a differant world

 

Streetfire is a website full of nothing but immature ******, most of which wouldn't know a turbocharger from a hair dryer. No matter what you post there, the morons will come out and talk trash about it. It's like a game to them.

If you want some good Z videos, check either the video section or the street racing section here, you'll find more videos of Z's beating cars with big or comparable power (z06's, evos, cobras, even lambos).

People don't give the Z enough credit that it deserves on the net. The selection of Z hating videos/posts on other forums has seen to that. It's funny when they get rolled on by a turbo or even stock Z and make all the excuses in the world as to why it happened. If you're really concerned with running other cars then its something that you can use to your advantage when they underestimate the Z.

just found another example. in the most discussed section, there is an older viper gettin beaten my a dc2 integra, and thats fine, assuming it has built internals, but when a tt z pulls a new viper, "its not fair, the z has tt and fully built internals" i dont get this hate. jealousy maybe?

It seems the Z gets much hate everywhere. The reason is jealousy IMO.

 

It really does seem like our cars get a bad rap pretty much everywhere but in our own community. I frequent a couple of local forums and also a couple of other car-specific forums, and see nothing but disdain for the 350Z. For some reason people think that we driver 15-second cars or something... there is no respect whatsoever, and if anyone tries to show some, everyone jumps on them.

the above folks dont help us in this category and i think there is quite a few young kids that own Z's. Surely they arent all d!cks but when a young kid is driving a 30k sports car other young kids tend to hate and those are the people flaming on streetfire...but its easy to see why people hate. The Z has history, its priced out of most younger kids arenas(although the more used Z's out there, they'll get easier to own), they arent that fast on paper compared to cars like SRT-4, evo, STI. And its the most viable JDM US pure sports car on the market right now. RX-8 nope, S2000's a different breed and not as much history as the Z, eclipse? theyre a joke nowadays, STI and EVO are econoboxes.

You can buy 03's for high teens now so it's one of the cheaper sports cars you can get. Because of the styling and the "rarity" (meaning not thousands of them like mustangs or camaro's etc.) people think that they are super expensive. So, I guess I can see why the hate for the Z. It's not rational, but haters never are, .

 

That is one of the funniest things out there. A wankel rotary w/ pistons ahahahhahaha. Why do people have to do that. I wish it would meet up with a real GTR. Now that would be a hoot. He needs to stick with hot wheels instead of real cars.
