350Z vs. s2000 debate --> READ ME
Okay guys, this is going too far. I am reading email after freaking email from people that are getting tired of reading s2000 fans whining about this and that, followed by 350Z fans whining about this and that.
Those that hate the s2000, keep it to yourself. End of story.
Those that hate the 350Z, keep it to yourself. End of story.
We have these mini pissing matches going on here where so called experts spew their data on the s2000 or 350Z and bottom line is that these two cars have not faced off yet in the press where the hard stats could speak for themselves. This I am sure will change, and then bragging rights will be awarded but until it does... can we just drop it and maybe grow up somewhat?
Myself and the other mods don't want to start kicking some of these so called "trolls" but we're getting people coming over from the s2000 boards with their panties in a knot and personally, I'm growing tired of it.
Most of you, without doubt, agree.

why not just have a trolling/flame/debate forum for this sort of discussion. Yes it is annoying hearing various fanboys appearing in legit 350z threads but then again, having online debates is fun on occasion.

Right Jay. I think the S2000 is a great looking car and I would have got one had it not been for the Z's return. Both cars fill a great void in the sports car world. It's hard to beat Japanese quality and value. How fortunate we are with so many great choices to be had.

Do I hear it correctly? The new site rule is "No more 350Z vs S2K debate". If that is true, then why pick on only S2K, since there are so many threads about 350Z vs M3, 350Z vs Z06, 350Z vs Boxster, 350Z vs ...
To be fair, I think the new rule should be "No more 350Z vs ANY CAR debate".
If tomorrow or next week, someone pick on another subject to debate like 350Z Touring vs 350Z Track, Bose vs ..., 18" vs 17" wheel, then new amendments can be added to ban those debates too.

I don't think he means no 350Z vs S2000 or any other car threads. It's about when someone says something nice about their Z without ever mentioning the S2000 and then here comes some kid :"Oh yeah well too bad the Z is a fat pig" I mean where did that come from?
I think we can still compare the z to other cars (including the S2000 I think) without getting personal. Also try to stick to the original thread. If a thread is about the M3 how come we are discussing the 1/4 mile times of the S2000?

We're just trying to ban the trolls who resort to childish rants and tantrums when trying to express themselves. Things like "your car is powered by a lawnmower" or "you car is a fat girl." Very immature indeed.
