After 4 years, we're still getting rave reviews.
I gave up on getting good unbiased reviews that did not favor the manufacter with the most ads in an issue from the likes of c&d, r&t, and motor trend. The only general car magazine that offers honest reviews is autoweek.

1. Nixing the MR2 Spyder and Celica GT-S (IMO..2 very nice cars)
2. Introducing the ridiculous Scion Brand...especially that boxy truck looking POS
3. Making flat-out UGLY cars like the Prius
4. and NOW...nixing the Supra, it's flagship sportscar, which they would've made gazillions of dollars on.
Most of their line up of vehicles is sooo MF lame now!!
Truly a shame, since Toyota quality is extremely top notch.

Agree, specialy the MR turbo. A friend of mine had one which we drove contantly at college and it remains one of the best cars I have driven.

I actually give them Kudos on this since they have found a pretty big gap in the market and are making money.
3. Making flat-out UGLY cars like the Prius
Kudos here also for thinking about our environment. [/B]

At least they STILL have Lexus
I own an IS250, so please, allow me: Lexus is a very good car, however, it will never be a sports car. It is a non involving car to drive and it does not feel as an extension of your body like an evo or Z does. So, summarizing, they are making cars that get the job done, no more or less. I don't see passion anywere. If the new IS500 feels any like the IS250, the new M3 will have a feast with it, hands down. Even if it is faster. Faster will not be better in this case.
