Wow, I didn't realize that I Threatened to Post 36 threads and only 126 posts. I'll get better about that, I promise, I'll add it to the New Year's resolutions.

That's what everyone says, but they're also the ones who wouldn't buy an ugly tub (can you think of any 4-door cars out there that out perform the Z for less?). I had an acquaintance in the town I used to live, yeeaaars ago. He had a pinto. A really ugly pinto (is there any other kind?) but liked to tinker under the hood and for an ugly pinto, it kicked donkey. It was a monster engine build but... it was still a pinto.

There's a reason I don't drive a pinto that could smoke my Z any day of the week, and it ain't, "under the hood where it REALLY matters." The stock performance already gets me into enough trouble, and although I liked most of the basic styling, I felt the front looked like a Japanese animated cartoon character (not the neato ones, the freaky pink happy bouncing ones). It bugged me every single day. Just not aggressive enough for my tastes, but I knew before I bought it that it wouldn't stay stock for long.

So I changed it and like it much better because, that's "where it REALLY matters" ... to me. I guess I should have tried to satisfy someone else.

 

If anyone cares to hear what I hate is people like the op and myself now who seem to think that anyone cares about what they think and have nothing constructive to add to our community. Thats what I hate, even more than you.
