^LMAO Next he's going to tell us that the VTEC kicked in on his Z. They themselves say, "This Z is not stock." Go to a meet out there in Cali and I'm sure someone will give you a ride in a Z that is not stock or even far from stock. There are a lot of people on this site that are very knowledgeable people in regards to Zs as well as other cars so to try and make the claims that you are making is ill-advised. 4.2 0 to 60 time will not come in a 350Z without F/I. Without even an intake modification I am willing to bet my Z that yours is stock. If you want props or w/e you are after then mod your car to a respectable level of hp/improve your driving skills, then beat other cars and post about it in the street racing section (if you race on the street) or in the autocross/road or drag racing sections depending on what kind of racing you do at the track.

If you hearing a "Whining" sound and have great 0-60 Times on what looks like a stock motor, you might have a 3.9 Final Drive on there.

Its a pretty common mod and would demonstrate those charictaristics.

I know that when I traded my Z, It wasn't worth the Hassle to take mine (3.5, mine was an 5AT) out, so I left if on there.

Also, Post pix of the Exhaust and look under the car for test pipes.

I ain't here to talk **** on someone else, neither to have someone talk **** on me. I am here concerned of what I have, asking PEOPLE the own the same car as me. I've been on a Z that is not close to stock my self (650hp) I know what you're talking about. but I've also beeing on Z's that are completely stock. Mine does not feel like the 650hp , but it does not feel as slow as a stock 350Z. Like I said, I'll just record it instead, and I will see how to upload the video on here. I have raced MANY cars out there. I've raced on tracks. I drift most of the time. Like you guys say, maybe my car IS stock...but me (the driver) is what makes my Z run the way it does.

Would he still make it to 159 mph (initial claim) with a 3.9 final drive? My calculations (nerd) put top speed gear limited to 158 w/ a 3.9 FD... I could be off by a few Mph eith way...

best thing to do would be take it down a 1/4 mile and post your time slip. All Z's arent going to dyno the same nunmbers, Dyno's are most effective in comparing the car before and after mods.

Noah might want to chime in on this. I believe he had all bolt-ons(no cams) and a 3.9FD and while the car was much faster than a regular bolt-on Z, I doubt it would bea these cars. There you go just go get the car dynoed and post the graph on here or go to the track and post the time slip. To keep you from embarassing yourself and trying to PS a graph or time slip, I will let you know that people on here will spot that very quickly...I only say that because people have tried to alter graphs before and I am not saying that you would.

Did you race the 650Hp Z and beat it too?

Dont whine. We answered your question. Your Z is stock. Yes, we are currently ridiculing your stupidity a little, but thats just a part of life.

** hey man, I'm running out to the store, would you like me to pick you up some tampons?

I have not doubt that what you are saying is true. We have no way to verify if the motor is stock or modified. However assume that it is stock until proven otherwise.

Seriously, it looks stock. Go get it checked out by someone who knows a Z inside and out. Not the dealership though..

well for the gears comment... why doesnt someone tell him what rpm in lets say... 4th gear or 3rd he should be at 60 mph so that he can compare with the rest of the people so taht we can put the gears theory to rest.

DUDE I HAD THE SAME THING. PEOPLE DIDNT BELIEVE ME THAT MY CAR WAS FAST. BUT I HAD UPGRADED MY CARBONATED SPINDLES TO A 65GGI, MY FLEX CAPACITOR HAD A SLIGHT OFFSET WHICH WAS GIVING ME UP TO 360 HP. I THINK THAT'S WHAT THE PO DID. MY Z LOOKED COMPLETELY STOCK AND I WAS SMOKING PORSCHES TOO DONT LISTEN TO THESE GUYS. I WOULD GET THE FUEL BEARINGS UPGRADED TO A 40ZZ AND IT CAN GIVE YOU UP TO 25 MORE HP. THAT WILL RUN YOU LIKE $200 AT ANY PERFORMANCE SHOP
