Unhappy Hit A F***ing Deer Last Night

Well one of my biggist fears was hitting a deer, and 1 year and 3 weeks of owning my 350, it finally happened. Thank god for insurence, and that i was only going 35mph. The dump deer jump out of the woods straight into the road only about 5-10 feet infront of me so there was no warning : (
$5000 dollars damnage.

hood
headlight
bumper
radiator
radiator support
radiator fan
etc...
and 1 dead deer.

Did you take the deer to a taxidermist at least? That's a solid kill.

Stupid deer, I always worry about that too on some of the highways and back roads around here. Atleast you are ok, and the insurance will cover it. Time to get some 06 headlights and a carbon fiber hood or something cool.

This is something I've been trying to look out for at night when driving. Sorry to hear bout your misfortune.

I'm not sure if this will help, but you can probably make some deer jerky and sell it. (?)

i love all the deer jerky comments lol. One great thing about the z is it doesn't lose so much value as some other cars do. Therefore I wasn't worried about insurence covering it, it's not anywhere near totaling the car.
and considering that i hit him going 35mph and it was a big deer about 200lbs or so, i think the z held up very well in my mind. so many other cars would have been totaled by this accident. definetly my last two cars would have been, buick century, and my honda accord
