Two weeks after I bought my Z, I'm waiting for my name to be called at Red Lobster. When I WATCHED someone throw open their door into my car! I yelled, and went over to check it out. Surprizing enough, the ding is so small, that you really have to look for it. I couldn't even see it that night and let the guy go. (But, I always check it out in a parking lot when I come back to it)

I dont get people. I go out of my way NOT ding even the ugliest car in the lot if I'm parked next to it. Its crazy to me that there are so many disrespectful (or just stupid) people out there.

In our side streets the snow are compacted and are icy now. Now that the sun is out (but its still 15 degree high!) ppl think they can drive fast now. At one particular intersection someone mowed down a stop sign. So now we have a dangerous icy intersection with no stop sign.

As I was driving home, I kept this in mind. I creep up the intersection and came to a complete stop about 20' before the intersection. My fear was that someone was going to try to make a right and turn and smak into me.

I was right! Here comes a Ford Focus at app. 20mph while turning!. He slides, locks up his brake and does a 360, jumps a crub and hits a tree on the sidewalk. But because I stopped 20' in advance he missed me by 5'. Had I not done that he would hit my driver side.

I came out, made sure he was ok (30 yr old male) and asked why he was driving so fast on ice....into a turn. He said, "I didn't realize it was ice."

hey dipshit, those glassy compact things on the road...yeah...its ice.

Good point Bamyi. Intersections are always the most icy parts of the road. Watch out for bridges too. Whenever you approach a bridge just coast accross it. Avoid applying the throttle or brakes.
