Default Embarassed, but I need to ask!!!

Ok so I have been a car buff for years....I have worked in the car business for about 8 years. I now own a 2005 350Z and "thought" i knew a lot about them. However, as embarassed as I am to ask, what is the Rev-up motor? I understand why Nissan calls it that but what signifies it when looking at the engine? I do have a m/t however not even sure which series Z it is. Obviously not a touring/track/convertible but it does have the 18in rims with a spoiler. But how do I find out all of this information? I am looking at bolt-on mods such as the Motordyne products but I do need some info. Thanks! and sorry for the stupid questions.

Bill

rev-up motor is the 300hp engine compared to the non rev-up 287 engine, and a 7k redline compared to a non rev-up 6.5. If u type in rev-up motor in search you will get about 2000 previous post. lol

i was thinking there was a performance and an enthusiast, throw a base model into the equation and i am all befuddled.

i say not track b/c no brembo brakes. i said not touring b/c no leather, and not 6disc player, manual seats.

there's no grand touring for 05 anyways.
umm. if you have vdc,
I'm guessing it's a performance...
you didn't know what model it was when you bought it??!?!??!?!?!?!

http://www.internetautoguide.com/rev...005/index.html
read it, and see which one fits your car description, I guess.
