Default 350z Totaled me.

So, I was tweaking my car PC install, namely I was moving my GPS reciever into the trunk area. I put my finder down the hole behind the glovebox, in the trunk. It is a 3/4 inch hole, and my finger got stuck. With no one around. It started to swell and was not comming out. I called the Fire department and they came out. It was pretty crazy but eventually they were able to drill small holes near my finger then rip some of the metal out with pliers, no real damage that is visible on the Z but my finger was pretty f*cked up, too bad my gf did not snap any pictures it was a funny scene.

You are my personal install hero, and should go into the installer's hall of fame. Good thing it was your finger and not another digit.

you should never, ever, ever tell people about this again.

In fact you should go to Thread tools and delete this thread.

I got it on here a long time ago. Can't remember who did it.

I got another one for my other mirror, that one I got from Mach One (sp) motorsports. This one is one line, don't know if it fits on stock mirror.
Here's a picture:

Yeah was pretty embarassing, The fire dept guys were talking about unbolting the body pieces, luckily one of them was level headed enough to not destory the whole car.

How's the CarPC doing? I'm waiting for my Albatron micro-ITX board to arrive early this week. It'll be sweet since I'm dropping in a 2GHz Turion CPU on it (25W with PowerNow!). I also have an X-Fi Xtreme Audio card waiting to be modified with Burr Brown op amps - this is the MOST important part of my project.

Reminds me when I first tried to take my oil filter off of my 03 Z. I tried for 2 hours and tore the **** out of the filter.

Wife came in and turned it the correct way, and the ****er came off. I bled as well! I felt like such an idiot!
