I spend 2 hr/day to commute to SF. Lately have been trying to improve my harmonica playing. Mainly blues cross harp...hey MB--muddy's good.

lately have been listening to Diana Krall--Live in Paris.

How about "The Test That Stumps Them All", or "Home"....those two songs kick ***!!

Joe Satriani has great driving music, and so does Se7endust.

But, for some reason, I just can't get my Winger's Greatest Hits cd out of the damn player......I'm pathetic, I know!

I think that song subconsciously stimulates the nerves in my right foot to automatically press down on the accelerator. Any time it comes on, my speed seems to increase by about 20% before I even realize it! In addition to that song, anything rhythmic and/or heavy is good to drive to.

However, my all-time favorite driving song is Red Barchetta by Rush (actually, I prefer Dream Theater's cover of this to Rush's original,) which is neither rhythmic nor heavy, but is a REALLY cool song about a particular car & a particular driving experience.

Gary
