Question Daytime running lights

Just got the ZR into Canada, and one of the requirements are daytime running lights.

Anyone know of a fix to get them on, or is this a $500.00 re-wiring issue?

Don't all Z's come with daylights? It's the first knotch up when turning on the lights. You turn it twice for full headlights, once for daylights ...

Or am I just missing this question entirely?

Those are parking lights not daytime running lights. From my understanding, DRLs are usually light by the highbeam bulb at half power. Maybe you can purchase/install the hardware from a Canadian Nissan dealer.

Hi,

You can get them from any nissan dealer, they will quote you between $250-$550, even Canadian Tire will do it. If I were you I would look into purchasing the DRL's and then begin looking for a shop to install them. Unless of course you are mechanically inclined and have your own (proper) tools.

Where in canada? if you are in toronto I am sure I could point you to a shop that would take care of the install.

Cheers,

R350z

(and yes this should be posted in either, West/East Canada forum)
