I Just Bought A Supposed Grand Touring And It Has 19 Inch Nismos And S Tune Suspension..the Only Thing It Seems To Have Left From The Track Is The Brembos...im Kinda Thinking Its A Touring With Brakes..why Else Would Someone Replace The Wheels And Suspension On A Grand Touring..just Wanna See If Theres Any Other Ways To Tell What Kinda Model I Have

 

Grand Touring has leather, Brembos, 18" front and 19" rear (depending on year model). Touring wouldn't have Brembos, and the 19's. Track wouldn't have leather.

 

RIGHT..I THINK MINE IS A TOURING NOT A TRACK..THE DEALER SAID ITS A GRAND TOURING....IT HAS LEATHER, BOSE, HEATED SEAT ECT ECT...THE ONLY TRACK FEATURE IT SEEMS TO HAVE LEFT IS THE BRAKES CAUSE THE SUSPENSION AND WHEELS HAVE BEEN REPLACED...JUST SEEMS ODD SOMEONE WOULD DO THAT WORK TO A GRAND TOURING IF IT REALLY IS ONE

NO NO NO....IF IT WAS A GRAND TOURING WHY WOULD SOME CHANGE THE SUSPENSION AND THE WHEELS...WHAT IM SAYING IS ITS KINDA SHADY THAT THEY SAY ITS A GRAND TOURING BUT THE SUSPENSION HAS BEEN CHANGED OUT AND SAME WITH THE WHEELS....IT SEEMS TO ME THAT IT CAN JUST BE A TOURING...IF IT HAS NISMO SUSPENSION AND NISMO WHEELS THEN ADDING BREMBOS TO A TOURING DOESNT SEEM THAT FAR OUTTA THE QUESTION..THE ONLY OTHER WAY I FOUND OUT TO TELL IS TO LOOK AT THE DRIVE SHAFT BUT I CANT SEE IT FROM UNDER THE CAR

the reason someone would change the suspension and wheels is because the the track wheels are better, and the suspension on all models is the same, regardless of if it's a track, touring, or gt, so the nismo suspension is better.

Sounds like a grand touring to me. Grand touring has the leather, the brembos, and the vdc (check for that button to the left of the steering wheel).

I am sure if you called nissan or searched around you can find the vin breakdown for the Z.
