Christmas stinks for parking the Z at the mall

Like many here, I REFUSE to park my Z near anyone and usually park it in no man's land. This is normally fine except during Christmas season.
The other day, I went to Tyson's Corner Center (a big mall in VA) to do some Christmas shopping and did the usual far away parking job. When walking back to my car, there were fleet of cars near the entrance to the mall waiting for parking spaces (even though there were plenty available far away where I parked). When making my way back to my car, I was followed closely by some soccer mom in an Expedition (what I like to call "stalked for a space") and I could tell she was growing impatient with how far away I was walking. Finally, I got to my far away car (where there were plenty of spaces available) and she finally gave up, giving me a dirty look while driving back to the mall entrance (as if it was my fault that I somehow forced her to follow me).
Does this burn anyone else? I hate being stalked for my space, especially when there are more than a few open that are far away. People just refuse to get off their fat a$$es and walk a few minutes more for them. Oh, and the worst is when someone puts their signal on and blocks an entire lane of a parking lot just so they can get a close space (again, with plenty of spaces available far away) but that's a whole other post.
Oh, well, never mind me, rant over.

I know exactly what you mean. I don't park far away, I just park normal - but about the stalkers....definitely. I worked at a mall for 2 years recently. At least half the time when walking back to my car, some idiot follows me, inherently pissing off the people behind THEM who are looking for spots. I usually had to park far away anyway cause there were no spots, and the stalkers usually get enraged halfway through and gun it down the rest of the parking lot to show me how angry they are that I wasn't able to park in the front.
you should jam a mini pocket bike in your Z and when you park far away.. take the bike out and zoom all the way to the mall/bike rack! Then when your leaving.. your 30hp lawndestroyer motor on your bike can smoke any of those stalkers stuck in mad winter traffic.

At least you still have far away spots, all the malls here have expanded into their parking lots and end up totally full. My Z is a daily drivers but there is no way I will intentionally park next to someone so its no mall for me.
As for stalkers, I don't care if they follow me but they knew the job was dangerous when they took it, so they can fork off if they don't like where I parked.

I know how that is. I can not believe how lazy we have become as a society. Pretty sad really. This happens to me even when it is not a busy area. Someone just trying to get closer so they can walk less. I used to love going back to my car to get something and have someone follow me back only to realize I was not leaving. Or even better, taking some bags to the car, so I could buy more stuff and be able to carry it.

Even in my mini van I'll park a lil further away because I absolutely HATE waiting. I'd rather get there and park right away then spend a few extra minutes driving around to find the closest spot. Besides, there's some exercise...but you better believe that when I go to Tysons Corner my car is parked far away.
When someone is following me I cut between cars to the next lane. It is so much fun to see them panic and blast around to get into the lane I am now in only to see me slide back into the original lane and hop in my car. Yes, I am EVIL.
It seems strange that you wouldn't park the Z close in Tyson's Corner. Isn't that where the more "well to do" members of our area do their shopping?
I would think you'd be in the company of higher end vehicles, who'd know better than to door ding you for fear of messing up their own cars.....

When i get stalked i like to give them the run around and suddenly cut through the middle of the parking lanes and watch them speed to go all the way around and catch up to me. Do this for about 10min. and you will really see some annoyed people, lol.

Thats when my daily driver a 96 Infiniti g20 comes out. One time this idiotic ***** in her late model Benz backs into my g20 and bends the front plate! So it doesnt matter if they drive bmws,Benz,Jags, etc. Women don't give a **** about their cars! I'm lucky I have a 2nd car.
