Default Just hit 1100 miles, now what?

I think the break-in period is 1200 miles, but i just wanted to know if there was anything service related that needed to be done to the car at this point??

i was thinking an oil change?

The next step is to run from first to sixth gear and redline everyone.

Default Centricparts rotors? Any good?

Was looking to see if anyone here had bought CentricParts rotors before, and what they thought about them.

better start driving that car like you stole it....otherwise the rings won't set correctly.

But to answer your question, "just hit 1100 miles, what now?".....rub one out on the hood....taaaah daaaaaaaa...organic wax.

Did you not get a set of manuals when you purchased the car?

BTW, the answer to your question is "no".

break in period for an engine is subject to opinion, but most people say not to get on it until about 4 or 5k miles. Take it easy until then. You can change the oil now if it will make you sleep better at night. Alot of people prefer to change the conventional oil out at earlier intervals during the break in period. Like someone stated earlier, wait til about 4k miles then switch to synthetic. On synthetic, you can wait about 5 or 6k mile between changes. BTW, look at your manual. It's filled with useful info.

Yep, or you'll start consuming oil. Pretty sure it's under the 'exterior care and maintenance section'.

people change their oil early to get rid of metals shavings and other crap that build up in the oil during the early life of an engine. The oil is still good, but with all that crap, you don't really want it in for that long. At least thats what i've remembered reading.
