Thumbs up Muscle Machines to release 1/64th scale 350Z

If anyone's seen these cars from Muscle Machines, they are very detailed for their scale. There's no pic available yet, just listed as becoming available soon .

Actually they don't have much detail at all. They are more a caricature (sp?) than detailed diecast. I do like them though.

No, they are not realistic factory cars, but I have seen some of these body kits on real cars, and they do have good detail

ya, those are sweet! Very detailed and reasonably priced for the scale . Man, a 350Z would certainly look nice, and you know if these guys make it, it won't be in stock form .

That one has not been released yet. There are a handful of sample models that retailers will be given to entice them to order the RSX. Alot of folks will sell those ones on ebay. I can get that RSX as well, however it will be a couple weeks from now.

No, I have been flirting with the idea of starting an on-line store for diecast models, however there's alot of competition already and I don't know if I would have enough time with my day job. I have a friend who is a distributor of diecast models and he gets me my stuff for my own collection. He gives me the lowdown on alot of this stuff. I have been waiting for awhile for that RSX from Muscle Machines, however from what he tells me it's gonna be probably late April or early May before it is released, same goes for the Daytona Blue Z.

Since I visit my friend once a week to buy my models anyways, I just sell the autoarts to folks here at my350z as a side thing, until I get a Z, if ever. It essentially pays for my addiction to buying toys. For folks who are shopping on the web, be careful for the shipping and handling charges and sales tax. The models are expensive to begin with and then most of these retailers will ream you on the shipping. One AutoArt 350Z 4.0 lb box should cost max $8 to ship from CA to NY or FL Fed Ex 2nd Day Air. If I am shipping to other folks in CA it should cost $5 max.

Just waiting for a dlr in so cal to participate in vpp, and since I have been waiting this long, perhaps wait for a 04 and see what this new silver that everyone is talking about looks like. The only dlr that agreed to do a vpp was Universal Nissan, however it was on a lemans sunset with a horrible blemish on the paint on the front left corner of the hood. Looked like some one pulled all the hair left over from the shower drain and threw it on the hood, prior to the clear coat being put on. Of course the dealer response was: "looks normal to us."
