Default Its gonna be a long 6 months!

Just had a letter from the dealer. I am lucky number 73 out of 450
350Z -GTs due in the U.K. in October. I am absolutely chuffed to bits, but boy it`s gonna be a long summer waiting. They were sold out in 1 hr!

That's not too bad. 83% of the people are behind you in line!

Nice going paul.. I ordered my car on Feb 12th 2002. It arrived on Sept 13th and I picked it up on Sept 17th ,2002. It was a long 7+ month wait including the entire summer.. But it's been great the past 6 months even though the car was buried in snow for a long time.. It will go by fast.. The wait was worth every penny of the price..

Good Luck..

Forgive me for perhaps being a little dim, but why are is the car called something different and why are the colors different names?

Greyfox, Most car makers have different models for different markets. Remember, the 350Z is called a Fairlady Z in Japan. The US usually has the most versions of a car type. I own a Volvo and the model sold in europe comes in totally different colors with very different options.. Mort suited for the EU market. I guess those colors are more popular in that part of the world.

Thanks - didn't know. Never bought a car in Europe or Japan, so stands to reason I know little of their markets. =)
