Good Service = More Tips = Nicer Car

My brother used to be a waiter and pretty much made more money doing that than his permanent job now. Get into the right place and youo can really rake it in.

So he doesn't make tips? Believe me I make garbage in paychecks. Tips on the other hand....

Still, a lot of it depends on skill, what restaurant it is and where it is.

I personally come from Mexico where people start driving without a license at the age of 11-12. I realize that I speak out jealousy sometimes becuase I would have loved to have this car when I was 16-21. But I didn't and maybe that makes me a little biased and a little pissed off towards teens driving around cars like this. However, I do think that for the most part, teenagers aren't ready to be driving a high powered car. Of course, there is all kinds of levels of experience and maturity, but let's be real, there aren't that many teens who are responsible enough to not drive wrecklessly.

Like I said, I was raised to earn what I wanted. I'm maybe I am a little jealous.

I do not think it is jealousy really. I think it is more of an anger towards the parents of these kids that are handed these cars. There is just no appreciation for things when you do not truly earn it. I wonder what the guilt must be like when there kid is killed in a car that he/she can not handle.

These are the people that suffer in the future if they do not inherit the estate or get a vaulted position at daddy's company. This does not only go for cars though.

Actually I was just wondering on that. I was not trying to put you down or anything. I was just doing the math because I knew from your previous post that your parents did not. Enjoy the ride!

$7.75/hr*40 hours a week minus taxes ~20% is about $250/week. Your GF must be bring in the money or you're eating dog food and living in a box.

So about $1090 a month:

-$150 for insurance
-$400 for Z
-$500 for Rent
so... $40 for gas, utilities, food?

after actaully finally getting to drive shezhot on hte public roads i would say the perfect age for ths car would be 25...............by then you are responsible enough.

Me being 17 and being a very self controlling person i found my self wanting to do nothing more that punch it and hear the motor roar. So pretty much if i did become the owner of one at this age id (A mature alot faster and become really responsible or (b loss my license very quickly

we took here there when we got the 2nd one and my moms best time was 14.6
She was still fairly new to relearing clutch and she had never raced before.

Now she is pretty seasoned and could prolly nail it good around low 14s o even high 13s. I woud love to do it myself but i need ot learn how to launch first w/o killing the clutch or the motor....But i know this i can power shift better than her..hehe
