On the road I see kids that look about 10 yrs old and they will point at my car, give a driving motion w/ their hands and give a thumbs up. The cutest thing was when a 10 yrd old girl came up to me and said, "You're driving my car. The 350z."

Is this due to the movie Fast and the Furious Drift? Didnt think kids would know what a 350z is. At first, I'm like WTF are these kids making gestures at me for?

 

Same here. I had 2 boys cross the street in front of me and stopped and pointed at my car. They took a good 15 seconds. Kinda funny. My nephew always says I have a race car too.

 

I just pull up to the local playground and sit in my car with the door open and a lollipop in my lap...gets them all the time!

haha.. it's funny because I'm experiencing the same thing! All the older kids don't compliant because they can't admit that their prelude or civic just aren't quite up to the standard. The little kids are just being honest and speak from their heart without any pride issue.

 

Some ten year old kid called my buddy "DK" as we got out of my buddies Z. I could only laugh at my friend.

 

Wouldn't you just know the guy named "Mr Peepers" would be a frickin' pedophile??

 

My asian friend driving his s2k w/ its top down got a "Hey its Johnny Tran" at a light. this was a few years ago..when fast and furious was out.

 

LOL. Kids love the 350Z. They will make a circle motion with their finger like Burn some rubber.

 

i had a small one walk infront of me... he kept looking at my car with his "perifualvision" (spell check plz) and i honked my car and he sharted himself

 

yeah i seem to get more compliments from little kids than people my age or older....maybe because my car is yellow so all the little kids are like whoa!

 

This last year I picked up my youngest son from school (6th grade) and I had like 10 little girls ooh aahing over my car. I thought it was funny when one come up to me and asked what year my Porsche was... LOL

 

I always get a "Hey, nice car!"
Young kids love the car but older folk seem to look away. lol

 

I've had two 7~10 yr old boys run across the street while I was stopped at a red light. Both of them took out cameras and started taking pictures of the car. When I looked over, they hid behind the bus stop but kept on taking pictures. hahaha it was funny

 

Definately have the little kids complimenting the Z. I have *some* older kids, but usually its little kids, or adults. I had two kids in an Explorer pull up next to me at a Stop sign and told me to "light 'em up". I politely declined with a "only if you are paying for new tires." The other time was when a guy pulled up next to me at the red light and started asking all about it. Awesome.

 

There is this dude that sells newspapers at this intersection who always compliments my car. I put a smile in my face when he said that my car looked amazing and so I decided to invest 50 cents for a paper that I probably won't read................well spent 50 cents.

 

Everytime I go through a parking lot like at Target or the grocery the young guys getting the carts off the lot always stop and stare, . I usually get on it a little for them, haha.

 

i get compliments from kids a lot, they shout Hey nice car! or I like your car. To say thank you I wave at them.

 

i think we're giving a "petifile" a good car to buy... lets not continue before somethin happens

 

I've picked up my little brother a few times for school....kids are always yelling and pointing.. "WHOA NICE CAR". I'm sure the Lemans Sunset helps with that
