2005 35th Anniversary Z is this a good price?
So I have decided im going to get another Z. I found this 2005 35th Anniversary edition black Z with 7600miles on it, for 29,900 on autotrader. It is from a private seller, and I am wondering if that is a good deal. Im guessing i could probbaly talk them down a little bit. The picture they have of it looks good so....
But it doesnt list any mods, I have not called them about it yet though, from the pic it doesnt look like there are any mods either though. Im going to 'assume' at the moment it is completely stock.
It doesnt list all the features out, it just says, 'With all 06 equip' im guessing it was a typo and was supposed to meen all 05 equip.

I bought my brand new track model Z for 32 and change
Unless its got some nice mods it may just be a tad too much
BUT
I would wait for the 07's ---- the new HR motor is going to kick *** and if your going to spend that much you may as well wait for the HR motor coming soon

For a 35th Anniversary Ed, 29,900 sounds about right. My 35th Anniv Ed has only 5,000 miles, and KBB says that its worth 30,900.
Keep in mind that the 35th Anniv model holds its value very well.

The 35th anniversary model is basically a grand touring correct? It has all touring options + Brembo's correct? Basically all i want is Leather + brembos and seat heaters =) but there is some bonus performance in there correct? I thought the hp on the tourings were 287 and the 35th was 300? or close to that?

Basically, it has the 300 hp rev up engine of the 06 without the extra weight (around 200lbs), but add in the leather seats/subs/power everything, it about rounds up to an 06 without those options...good luck, i love my 35th

So you would say buy the 35th over the 06 for the price? The 35th has all those options correct?

You would probably do better getting a new one instead of a used 2005 because you should be able to get a lower interest rate with a new one.
(depending on how much $ you put down) you could pay close to $9,000 in interest in 6 years with a common interest rate of 9% for a used car.

i think you would be much happier buying a new 06 touring/track... but the 35th "as stated above" holds good resale value. If your planning on modding the heck out of the car or keeping it for 3-5 years... buy a 06.. otherwise, 35th sounds nice
