Man was that a Track or Grand Touring edition? Looks like one of the wheels on the ground there. Also looks like you have a Nismo wing on there, if so I guess it didn't give enough down force, lol!!

Not all 16 year olds are immature... Why the hell is 350Z owners always talking s**t about people who are younger than them...

It's the same way in svtperformance.com, evolutionm.net, iwsti.com...etc.. Unfortunately everyone is entitled to their own opinion so you just have to sit back and let it go... I'm 26 myself and feel fortunate to own such a nice vehicle...

Do you think he'll just do the rest of the world a favor and not kill or injure anyone else while he totals 5 other cars?

Do you understand the concept of other drivers, passengers or pedestrians on the roads getting killed when there is a wreck?

Have you ever had a close friend or family member killed or injured in a accident? Unfortunately I've had both a close friend and a family member killed in a wreck, caused by a reckless driver. Not a drunk, just some kid who thought he knew how to drive fast and instead took the life of my best friend and my sister.

So STFU.
You paraphrased my comment by completely making up a bunch of bull**** that I did not say? Well great not, refer back to the post above.

I have had a friend killed, actually a few friends killed in traffic accidents. A family member? Nope, but almost died. I do also understand hte concept of other drivers and pedestrians being on the road. BUT GO BACK AND READ THE WHAT I SAID, NOT WHAT YOU PARAPHRASED.

"NO MATTER WHAT YOU TELL HIM, IT IS NOT GONNA CHANGE HIM DRIVING FAST. SUGGESTING HE GETS DRIVING CLASSES, IS NOT GONNA DO ANYTHING. HE IS NOT GOING TO LISTEN. THEREFORE NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU SAY TO HIM, IT WILL CHANGE NOTHING."

Have you read anything that you have posted? Seriously. GO back and read it. Than make a sensible post with some accurate information and facts. Not a bunch of BS you decided to write. Instead of saying I said abunch of BS i didnt say, just copy and paste what i said and go off of that.

Default needs driving lessons and a less powerful car

I'm going to have to chime in and say the OP needs driving lessons and something less powerful so that he can't get himself into trouble as easily. There are other pedestrians, passengers and cars on the road and a bad driver can cause a lot of carnage and damage to others.

Every time someone w/Z gets into a wreck, that incrementally raises insurance rates for the rest of us too.

The OP should seek a car club w/driving schools in his area that teach car control. No, I'm not talking about driver's ed classes to get your license. They most certainly don't teach the items below.

I've been to one of these before when I lived in WA and another w/another company. The former has you do things like:
- skidpad to experience both understeer and oversteer
- slalom
- accident avoidance using ABS brakes
- driving in a oval course but learning about proper turn in, apex and unwind
- untimed autocross

Even those w/NON-sports cars will benefit. The Z was great when I did the above.

You lost control in a neighborhood when you hit a bump? Doing what, 100mph? If you lost control when you hit a "bump", in a neighborhood, then you need to get a freaking bus pass, and save lives (not including your own).

I really wonder what happens to you in those parking structures that have speed bumps.

Look man, I apologize for flaming you, I shouldn't have done that, but you have to understand cause and effect.

When I paraphrased you I added the effect of him totaling 5 cars, which means who knows how many deaths and/or injuries. Can you see that? If he totals 5 cars then someone, probably not him, is going to die or be seriously hurt. You cannot say that that wouldn't happen. The likelyhood is far greater that it would than not, hence cause and effect.

It doesn't matter if he listens or not. That's like saying you shouldn't tell people not to drink and drive. They're going to do it, but you have to make the effort. Doing the opposite, if I can make an analogy, and telling them to drink and drive until they kill themselves or learn isn't acceptable.

Get it?

I guess I missed the part where the guy said his parents buy him everything? All he said is that his dad just got an M3. I'm not defending the fact that he lost control of his car and put himself and others at risk, but I feel like half the people in here somehow interpreted his post to mean that his parents were going to buy him a new car.

Honestly put yourself in his shoes: You own and love your 350z sports car and in a moment of poor judgement you lose control and it's gone. Which one of you is seriously going to replace it with a 2001 toyota corolla to 'teach yourself a lesson'?

Hopefully he learned from this incident and will have a bit more respect for the machine next time. BTW I would go for the BMW 335 if I could swing it. I hear the bi-turbo setup keeps a real big smile on your face.
