Default decision on picking 350z and some Qs.

hi guys, i'd really like some feedback on which 350z to look into.

from the base model to the gt. the price difference is about 8-9k. from my thought of mind it isn't really worth it. i'm a spirited driver but this car wll be the daily driver. i'm thinking the 19s, brembo, seats, bose will all be replaced by work wheels, ap racing, bride, rainbow/focal (for about the same amount of money of a gt). any input on that idea? since i am not a owner yet i cannot decide if that is a better way to go or not. im counting on some feedback.

all the newer cars base or not in my opinion come pretty good already in terms of ac, power stuff, hid etc... not like how it was 10 years ago. and the engine is pretty much the same in all trims unlike civic dx vs si/r or even subaru wrx vs sti.

since this will be the daily driver i plan to not heavily modify it but you never know lol. i'm tired of daily driving a car that feels like a rock... uber heavy spring rates, overly loud exhaust, hard bucket seat, clunky lsd etc. i don't think there will be any forced induction because i don't want any downtime if anything happens atleast on my daily car. for sure if it runs perfect i'd love some more power but things happen.

i'll be looking at the practical side of things while i mod for performance at the same time. my plans are something like: lowering it with some quality shocks like koni (maybe coilovers with lower spring rates...), sway bars, a slightly aggressive alignment, some work wheels with max summer tires like a hankook z212 or a rt615, brake work, an lsd that doesn't clunk and bride euros 2s.

i have a question i can't find the answer for. how much toe correction does the 350z have after lowering? because after lowering i might have to get camber arms/toe arms for front rear? i'd like to look into pricing on those parts if the stock doesn't have a wide range of adjustments. i'm fine with negative camber but not fine with toe being screwed up. thanks guys looking forward to getting this all done.

You could get the BASE 6MT and get a cusco LSD and a big brake kit that will work better than the brembos... With that you'll still have spent less then getting the GT model which you can use for suspension mods or wheels and tires...

Have it on order right now and it should be in on the 4th according to UPS... I've ridden in one with the MZ and I liked it. Very noisy when taking corners, but I like that sorta thing...

If you have not made up your mind in a year, I don’t think that I can help.

^+1 Yeah, probably just another troller . . . can't help you until you have the key to your Z. That's the only way we'll know you're serious about owning one.

how could i have one if i can't decide on which i want. i am a patient man so i won't get all crazy over a daily driver. going to a few dealerships power and superior nissan and getting bombarded by 20 guys just trying to sell me the damn thing rather than knowing what is what.

you need to stop being a post *****. if there is not contructive criticism then its just wasted space. if anyone can answer my questions i'd really appreciate it. although i think i'll be going with a base my main concern is the toe/camber after lowering.
