Default LeMans350z - Totaled my car (for the second time)

Well, two days before my cover feature in NISSAN SPORT arrived at my door my car was totaled. A guy pulled out in front of me on my way to get some off season work to my car. The worst part is that the car also fell off a flatbed tow truck on the way to the body shop. This took out the back of the car and broke one of my front wheels. Both accidents are not my fault and I am working with my insurance company to get it resolved on two different claims.

This morning I found out it was totaled from the adjuster; however I am working with my insurance on a settlement. I had a large rider on the car and have provided all my receipts. I should know the outcome next week.

Needless to say - Thank you to NISSAN SPORT for providing the coverage of my car. In case you have not seen the cover I will attach it here.

Well good luck with what you have to go through now. I got hit while stopped at a red light back in June and i am still fighting the insurance company. Probably going to court over it. It was a heavily modded show car quality 98 Formula.

Very nice car!

Yeah the extra insurance I had in place should help a great deal.

Man, sorry for your loss. Hopefully you'll get a good settlement. Are you gonna keep the parts already on it?

Dude I thought I was the only one with luck like that. My race Si was dropped off the back of a tow truck. How tough could it be to tow a 2120 pound car???

Thanks everyone! I hope to get this resolved. I am looking into the 07 as we speak.

Parts are more than likely going with the car. Depends on what they offer me.

Tow Truck??? Who knew it could happen. I guess the car was sitting on one of the chains, car moved, car lossened chains, car became unhooked, car fall off. I was going to the body shop and come up on my car in the middle of a intersection where it fell off. I jumped out the car and cussed for about a minute. Then I went back and got my camera and proceeded to get enough pictures to ensure the tow truck company would have to pay for the damages. Tow truck company said they were sorry and would pay for it. I claimed with my insurance and I am going to let them go after the tow truck company.

Man, to even think that could happen scares the hell out of me!
That was one hell of a cool LeMans Sunset, guess you will have to take them to the cleaners and get all of your money back and get an 07

Best of luck to you

Cheers

Kevin

No mention if you are Ok hope all is well

It must be a true story because no one could make this up. This looks like an insurance nightmare. How much of the damage is each party responsible? Maybe the insurance company and tow company will just split the bill down the middle.

I got the issue here at work and was just talking about your car earlier. I can't believe it is the same car on this issue......I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you on this one.

Will insurance cover your mods? or will they just give you the value of an average Z with the same milage and condition before the accident?
