I think the look has potential. As long as the performance was similar, I would consider it. I am buying the Z mostly for solid performance, the flashiness is just a plus.

Difficult to say since I love the one we're getting. If I hadn't seen the concept of the one we're getting maybe...I really wanted a brand spanking new fresh off the assembly line Nissan Z. But doubt I would have if it only had a 4 popper, high revs or no. (Nothing against racing/modified 4 cylinders, but EPA takes cares of that.)
The other factor is it took a while for me to warm up to the concept we're getting. And then when the first production pictures were released, it looked even better to me. And having built the 1:24th scale model and the 1:10th scale RC model...I have a feeling the car is going to look even better IRL. I don't think you could say that about this one...not as "3D".

It was supposed to have a tuned version of the KA24DE from the previous generation Altima and 240SX making about 200hp, and I'm so glad they scrapped this concept it would have fallen flat on it's face. It would be an OK succesor to the 240SX but not the Z.

Good question. Kinda 944/280 looking. It does look lighter than our Z. I'd go for it if it could have more performance. Otherwise I like the 350Z we're getting.

HAS ANYONE HAD A 240z
Never with a 4 cyl
But did any of you who hated this design ever have a 240Z??
Or simply like its designs?
I think they could have worked with it and made a nice car, but I dont think they would have sold large numbers as a reto car.
