whats a good mileage when buying a car?
I would try to stay between 30,000 and 30,004, I think they tend to screw up around 30,005 miles.
Buying a used car is a gamble. If grandma owned the car and it had 60,000miles, it might be in better condition than someone who gave the car 9 kinds of hell and has 25,000miles on it.

how many threads are you goiing to make about buying damaged Z's?
anyways i would stay away from any that are beyond 30,005 miles...Nissan has a self destruct mechanism that engages at that point. The car will slowly break down from that point on.
if you buy a new one though you can disengage the self destruct mechanism.

you can't really go by mileage. I've seen cars with 100k miles that are in better shape physically and mechanically than some with only 30k miles.
if you're worried about it, save your money and get a brand new car with no miles. That's the only way you will know 100% how the care is taken care of.

"any hire is retarted"
*higher and *retarded"
when buying a used Z, i would stick as much as around 30k miles...obviously lower is much better but it all depends on how they do the maintenance and how they treat the car...You have to consider that when buying a sports car, the car is made to be driven hard so more than likely the person who owns it have driven them hard before. So dont even let that bother coz youre more than like to do the same thing when u get the car. If anything you really have to be extremely careful will be the z thats been in a collision and never maintained because it wont be too long and the maintenance might start getting on u...Just hope that 30k is not a hard miles...Im pretty sure you know how to check the car thats been beating badly by previous owner...good luck...
