Default My first speeding ticket!

Haven't even owned my Z for a month and already got my first ticket! I'm 25 years old and never had a speeding ticket before. I drove a '94 Mustang GT for my first car since I was 17, daily drove it until about two years ago when I bought my parents Maxima, then traded it in on the 20th of December for my PPW '03 Z Enthusiast(Happy Birthday to me).

Not a month of ownership and I got a ticket! How easy is it to fix your first speeding ticket in Missouri? 86mph in a 60 is what the ticket said, glad he didn't clock me 2 minutes before!

cops are attracted to fast looking cars...but 86 in a 60 and you cant complain about that. you got caught, plain and simple.

I know in Cali if you're over 25mph, I dont think you can take traffic school unless you see the judge and ask. Goodluck with the ticket.

Traffic attorney. $100 will get you out of points, school, and having to appear since it's your first ticket. You will still have to pay the fine though.

You play you pay. Be careful and think of it this way.. if you take the fine and divide it by all the times you were actually speeding it probably costs a nickel or less each time.

Oh yeah.. make sure you have a radar detector and know your area very well if you plan to avoid future tickets.

bofa (ticket and points free for three years.. knock on wood... after getting 85 in 45, 55 in 35, and 65 in 45 within a two year period in a much slower car )

Haha ... I got clocked going 92 in 75 going to San Deigo on Interstate 8 in Arizona.. I deserved it and now I dont go past 80 unless "playing". I went to traffic school --1 day 8 hours and 120 dollars and the ticket doesnt go on record.

i got pulled over doing 145 in a 65.... cop was cool and wrote it for 96 in a 70.... right at 26 over in OK means you can't get it off your record... which is why he wrote it exactly 26 over... maybe thats why he wrote yours for that as well... much more than that and they're supposed to arrest you and impound your car... lucky us.

it took me almost 3 years before they finally caught up with me lol...

Well I have had a bunch of tickets.
First 9 over BS ticket on Christmas Eve.
Prearranged Racing.

100 in a 65, wreckless, Following to closely.

I have gotten out of all three kinda. I used a PFJ for the 35 over im in NC and just need to keep my record clean for 3 years. I would go that route if you can. Do a traffic school. I did mine online and maybe some community service before and you should be fine. Thats what I did.
