Default Good Deal? or NOT?

Hi, I have been reading this forum for a while and just recently signed up. I just wanted some opinion on this deal that I want to purchase this weekend. I have been looking for some time now for a car. I don't really like buying new cars, and this seems to be in like-new condition so I guess it would be a good buy. I got the salesman to go down to $23750 OTD, but I would try to go down a little lower ($23500) What do you guys think?

I've been driving around looking for the 350z and this is too far from my house so I want to know if it's a deal I can buy and not waste my time driving there and back for no reason.

Sorry if this is just another price question, but I just want to know what some think about the deal. I live in TEXAS-sales tax is 6.25%. Thank you.

Welcome. Before shopping determine which model is best for you. That is a Base.

Welcome,

It looks like a pretty good deal. But it makes me wonder if it is having oil consumption issues. (FYI, I have an '05 35th and have had zero oil consumption problems.)

I would take the vin# to a nissan dealer and ask about the vehicle history. Also get a carfax report.

But if all is well, it seems like a good deal. Although you may want to ask some regional Z owners if that is a deal to be had.

Good luck!

I want to purchase an Enthusiast but would be fine with a base. I doubt there's any way to test oil consumption besides owning it right because you would have to check it periodically.

By the way, are there differences in the cloth for the '06 model. I have test drove, ones with leather and black cloth interior only. Are the cloth for a white base model different from the black ones that I am used to seeing? I know how the 05 cloth looks like, kind of gray, it's not like that is it? I like the solid black color.
