then you go and expect positive comments, and bragging about leaving the JDM world like it was such a bad place? c'mon, you said it pretty much in your original post, it is time for you to move on.

Congratulations on your new car. Good choice and I sincerely wish you the best. (I'm glad I won't have your service/maintainence bills). Having said that, and I mean no disrespect, I think you're posting in the wrong forum now. I wonder how sympathetic the BMW owners will be to your regrets on leaving the JDM world.

do you see the stigma/humor with owning a bmw? it's obvious what it unleashes in everyone. some respect and others just hate. this is the **** i wanted to share. most bmw owners don't see it, cause they are it. so, i came to where i know. and i got just what i expected. some are all like, "cool." where others aren't. but, it's all in the unparallel entertainment value. remember, if i was buying a new Z, i'd be doing the same thing and sharing with you. should i just ignore you alltogether and only talk with the bmw bros? IMHO, that's the fake/sellout/poser route. say what you will, but i'll be picking up my blk sapphire metallic/coral red dakota leath/6MT TT monster on Jan. 24, and i'll post pics here for those who care, and the a$$holes that don't (just to rub your FACE in my...whatever

i wasn't even considering it until just after i test drove an '06Z. i passed the bimmer stealership and saw it. OMFG!!! the 06 Z was just not what i remember the Z as. too much vibration transferred through the tranny/chassis. i know this was all supposed to be rectified for '07, but...you know the rest.

Still no disrespect, but if you had purchased an '06 or 07' Z, then you would be, appropriately, on these boards. I just don't get why, if you think you've "graduated" to a BMW, why you would continue to post here. What is it, the nostalgia factor? Don't get me wrong-I've been SERIOUSLY considering an 8 cyl M3 myself. But, if I did it, I would say goodbye and THANKS to the members on this forum and move on.
And, to paraphrase another member here, " I will miss your posts, all 39 of them."
