Dang I have never seen so many "I wrecked my car" threads in a single forum! You guys need to slow dowwwn.
I dont know where you live, but here in America it is winter, and during this season there is ice, snow and more ice. All accidents aren't a result of reckless driving. Some are just that, ACCIDENTS, unavoidable occurrences. So next time you think of posting a thread like this, do us a favor and step away from the keyboard.
yea, sat night i was rear ended sitting in a turning lane waiting for oncomming traffic to clear.... completely un avoidable on my end . if only the driver who caused the wreck woudl have paid attention and not hit the car behind me, then that car wouldnt have hit me

Yeah of course there are exceptions and you certainly fit the bill in this case but I agree with him, I have seen lots of "totaled my car" threads here involving reckless driving. Or at least it SEEMS that way. It's not my intention to generalize, but I mean - take a sampling of the general public and see how many people have totalled their car in the past year and then take a sampling of the drivers on this forum...

Yeah, but thats a reason it should NOT be driven IMO. Snow tires, TCS/VDC, and driving slow will only go so far. I bought a Jeep for the winter, since it usually snows here during the winter.

I think most people here live in America. Besides this forum, I regularly visit the Accord forums, RSX forums, and diesel truck forums just to name a few, and I haven't seen nearly as many wrecked my car threads on any of those forums (knock on wood). I started this thread here because this really caught my attention. I think the other forums I visit, especially the Dodge Ram forums, include people from all over the United States where snow is a norm in the winter. I wrote this thread in a jokingly manner. I didn't intend to stir any heat. But to each his own. If you think accidents are unavoidable, YOU should do US a favor and not drive in the winter!

What is the average age of the drivers who totaled thier cars?
Anyone can wreck, but the price of a used Z is such that darn near any HS kid can own one now. Inexperience + High HP RWD = Higher chance of an accident.

forums based on fwd cars and diesels with 4x4 (more than likely)

Yeah no doubt the type of car (350z in this case) is correlated with more accidents. Maybe there really isn't "more wrecks" on this forum; but it just kinda seems like it.
