Default How paranoid am I?

I'm so anxious, tomorrow my z is going to get dropped of at my house and im even going to skip a day of school to get it. This place is an hour away and my biggest concern is that some guy is going to rape my car on the way to my house. Im so paranoid that I was thinking to have a friend that lives over there to follow them to my house. So should I be worried or am I just going crazzzzzy?

Pick it up yourself!! If you are already skipping school to get it then dont be a lazy turd and have some fat mechanic rev'ing the $h!t out of your new car for an hour ride!!

No problem. Delivery agents are professionals. They have experience driving everything from a Neon to a $150,000 Porsche. He’ll probably just take it to 150 MPH a couple of times to make sure everything is OK.

I had the same thing happen to me. My car was at a dealer about 2 hours away from the dealer I was purchasing from and I told them that I didn't want anyone driving my car. They would not let me go get my car. They said I had to get it sent over to us and then I could pick it up. WTF is that?

F-That man. You should have told him you wanted your money back and found out where the other dealer was located and bought it from them

As for the main post GO GET IT!!! Your off school anyway so why the hell not man. If it's fresh off the big rig then go get it. My friend tells me stories about what they do with cars that sit on the lot for a while. He is a mechanic, but the sales people are worse taking them to lunch and then bringing them to him and saying something like "I don't know what happened, but something’s wrong with it" GO GET IT.

Cheers

Kevin

Those "professionals" are called gofers, or garage attendants. My neighbor is one for a local dealership here who told me they'll take cars out and run 'em against each other, pushing the hell out of them, doing shyt the owner would never do!. Found out that's how my tranny went to shyt on my Celica, dealership replace with a new one including the clutch/flywheel.

I'd just go pick it up myself or at least have a "friend" pick it up for you!

definitly agree. pick that woman up.

it will probably save you a ton of wasted time and possibly money.

around here, we have the most illegal hispanic garage attendants they could dig up. they are day laborers pretty much. Give a $5 hispanic driver a 35,000 dollar car and an hours worth of free driving on someone elses dollar...see where im going?

Those are not professionals, here in Cali they are known as Porter's. I used to be a tech for Ford, we abused customers cars all the time. New cars? Poor cars, especially GT's. We would use them to go to lunch and drive em like we stole em. I would never buy a car with more than 10 or 15 miles on it brand new. Even then it might be too much. I would pick it up, or follow the guy all the way to make sure its getting treated right.

Letting trustworthy delivery people deliver your Z after you've bought it is like letting your bestman escort your wife to her hotel room after the drunk wedding: it's all going to be ALRIGHT

What the hell are you thinking? Call the dealer and tell them you want to screw your wife yourself! (you know what I mean lol). The drive home the best part of it all! Trust me on that.

Plain and simple. It's a brand new Z...300hp+ Manual?? He's going to abuse that lady I'm 99.9% sure. The dealer I bought my Z at. I SEE IT WITH MY OWN EYES. And they even take me . new cars for a spin to see how fast they are. (I know the managers there) but yes indeed every dealer I've been to and people I've met that have anything to do with deliviring/fixing/testing cars...they'll drive it in a way that SOME owners never would. When I bought my car they told me "This Z is a beast man...It's beaten the new 06Z" and I just looked at him like how the **** would u know? But I got it for a small amount
