Default '06 vs '07 Z + Trim levels

Hey everyone. I'm kinda new to this whole 'modding for performance' thing. I always loved fast and exotic cars, but never really thought about modifications. I ALWAYS admired the 350Z, but for mostly its look. What really got me started was my boyfriends Evo IX MR which I was set on getting, but I always had a thing for the Z.

I just wanted to get some different opinions on the different trim levels and also the new '07 model. I know there isn't as much knowledge about the 07 as the '06, even though its out already. I heard they deleted the track trim, which kinda sucks. but yeah, any preferences on the '06 vs. '07? and preferences on the different trims?

thnx :]

That is yet to be proven. 07 Touring or GT would be nice. Never was a fan of the base or enthusiast model.

The Enthusiast has always been the best bang-for-buck Z available.

As for the Track...the Brembos are nice but it's way overpriced otherwise.

If you are enthusiastic get the Enthusiast.
If you like touring, get the Touring.
If you want to tour in grand style, get the Grand Touring.
Are you taking the 350Z to the track? Then the Track is for you.
Some girls are basically just girls. The Base is your best bet.

It is difficult for us to determine the proper trim level without a photographic image of you.

J/k

You seem like a Z enthusiast, and based on Davidv's chart, the enthusiast model is for you. It has most of the important features you'd need: Traction control, limited slip differential, and cruise control. Touring has Bose and leather, and Grand Touring is for those who likes to tour in grand scale, according to the Dv chart.

Definitely get the '07 with its redesigned VQ-HR engine, however. Without getting into technical details, the HR is stronger, smoother, and faster than previous Z engines. To phrase it in a way ladies could relate: the new HR is tall, dark, and handsome, while the older VQ is short, fat and and bald
