you'll often hear enthusiast being best bang for your buck. that was more true when they didnt offer HID's for the 03-05 base models. anyways, I ended up getting an enthusiast because i was gonna put an aftermarket stereo in and preferred not to have leather seats (there goes touring). didn't want to pay the extra 10G for grand touring because it's still the same car.

now track on the other hand, i would've liked the brembos but oh well. either way, they're not offering track for 07, not yet anyway.
good luck

Says who? Are there even any mods for that engine yet?

The only difference I know of between the trims is that the 2007 does not yet feature a Track model, only Base/Enthusiast/Touring/Grand Touring. There are some minor differences as to what each contains, but nothing major that I know off.

I haven't seen anything on it yet, but do all 2007's get the new motor? Or just the manuals?

I don't know if it's still running in 06', but I got performance trim because it came with 18's and spoiler lip and was the lightest.

Perfomance stopped in 2005 I believe. 2005's 35th Anniversary became the 2006 Grand Touring Model.

I went with touring basically because of the leather heated seats. I live in the north and I put so many miles on my cars that cloth would simply wear out too soon. The "upgraded" radio of touring was also a factor in my choice, but it hasn't lived up to expectations other than the controls, speaker and wiring are in if I decide to change the head unit.
